For those of you that don’t know, perdition is the loss of the soul, eternal damnation, and utter destruction. To travel the road to perdition is then of course to head towards hell. Even those that aren’t religious can understand that the concept of heaven and hell isn’t far fetched if they are obtainable while on earth. After all, if the kingdom of heaven is at hand isn’t hell underfoot?

I lived in New York City and interned at the International Center of Photography from January to May of 2002. While living and interning there I had many opportunities to photograph the city. The city has a tremendous variety of strength, weakness, beauty, ugliness, reality, life, and rawness to be observed. These few images that I took are simple images of a complex metropolis. They are from the top of the Empire State Building, in Central Park, and in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Men In Black 2 was no less than what I expected, which may have been why I enjoyed the film. The jokes characters and special effects were the same, after all it was a sequel, but the movie’s plot did lack a little in the originality and department. In fact the movie is so standard fare I really have nothing more to say about it.
